Water Damage In Daycare Facility

Supply line break in Daycare Center

A malfunctioned supply line was the cause for this day care center needing remediation. The water flooded the carpet which needed to be extracted. The walls also wicked up some water which meant the baseboards needed to be removed.

Baseboards act as a barrier and will not allow the water to evaporate. Without their removal the drywall would start to mold. The key to preventing mold is extracting the water and start the drying process before mold can take root.

The company called SERVPRO of Alamo Ranch to have us cleanup the all the water. We removed the baseboards and placed air movers along the walls and carpet.
